For a company with 10 trucks covering 150,000 km per year, a 10% saving on diesel equates to more than €60,000 annually. The chip tuning investment for that fleet is around €6,000–€8,000. The return on investment occurs within the first quarter.
Which fleet vehicles can be remapped?
- Long-haul trucks — Volvo FH, Scania R/S, MAN TGX, DAF XF, Iveco, Mercedes Actros. Saving 10–15%.
- Distribution trucks — MAN TGL/TGM, Mercedes Atego, Iveco Eurocargo, DAF LF. Saving 8–12%.
- Cargo vans — Sprinter, Crafter, Transit, Master, Daily. Saving 8–12%.
- Autobuses y autocares — urban, interurban, long distance. Saving 8–12%.
- Company cars and SUVs — any turbodiesel in the fleet. Saving 8–15%.
- Tractors & agricultural machinery — John Deere, New Holland, Case, Fendt. Saving 8–15%.
How do I calculate the real saving for my fleet?
Formula: current litres = (annual km × consumption) / 100. Saving = litres × % saving × diesel price.
Real example: truck 150,000 km/year, 30 l/100km = 45,000 litres/year. Saving 10% = 4,500 litres × €1.35 = €6,075/year per vehicle. Remap cost: €600–700. ROI: 6 weeks.
Which Stage is best suited for a fleet?
For fleets the goal is savings and reliability, not maximum power. El Stage FuelSaver (EcoStage) is the most recommended: it optimises towards efficiency, increasing low-rpm torque so the driver needs less throttle. The SmartDrive combines savings with a bit more response to improve delivery times.
Do you offer special prices for fleets?
Yes. For fleets of 5 or more vehicles we apply volume pricing. From 10 vehicles the discount is significant. Contact us with your fleet details (number of units, makes, models, annual km) and we will prepare a quote with estimated savings calculation included.
Can you travel to our premises?
For larger fleets, yes. We travel across Europe to avoid vehicles being out of service for longer than necessary. It is also possible to send the ECU for remote remapping on some models.
